I like holding this space ball in my palm. These balls are well crafted and should be handled gently. I keep one in every room, as a blunt object, in the case there is ever an intruder one day.

I ordered 2 of these for Christmas gifts for adults very interested in Astronomy. They are amazing to look at and a fun gift and even educational tool.

I would have rated 5 stars, however, while one of the pieces was perfectly put together, all planets aligned properly, one of them was not at all. The planets inside the glass are actually 2 pieces, a top piece and bottom piece within the glass and a plastic wafer that has the rings or orbits of the planets. The one with the issue was due to when the piece was put together the planets top and bottoms are offset so instead of the planets being perfectly round they are not, you see the edges no matter how you turn the piece.

You also can see this thin wafer on both pieces and it appears this is how it's constructed so those expecting a perfectly clear glass or "crystal" ball will be disappointed but you only notice it when looking from the side.

Came in a really nice box that had a beautiful interior holder for the sphere and its stand. The orb itself was everything I hoped for and gorgeous in person.

Bought for my 9 year old for Christmas. He loves it. He was so excited when he opened the box. It's now the center peice of his dresser. Tells me every day how much he loves it.

The inside ball quality was super low. The color of 2 of them were chipped and took away from the beauty of the solor system. I expected more for the price. The stand and ball itself were beautiful

I got this model as a birthday present for my girlfriend (we're both science and math buffs, and Astronomy/Astrophysics is a big thing for us), and I have to say, it is even more beautiful in person than I could have anticipated. The ball is crystal clear and the stand is beautifully finished. As an extra plus, the whole thing came in a beautiful gift box, and after taking out the styrofoam (just torn off pieces to keep everything safe in shipping) and stickers (which is neat that the seller includes them, they made a nice little surprise for my 8 year old sister), the box was perfect for presentation, and it didn't need to be wrapped or anything. 10/10 product, I would highly recommend it to anyone who has a significant other or loved one that loves space, Astronomy, or Astrophysics.

I bought this as a birthday gift for a 6 year old who loves the solar system. I thought about it for some time - trying to decide if he was simply too young for it. He loves it and it is really a neat gift. It is quite heavy for its size, and very attractive on its little wooden stand. I am very pleased that I bought it.

It's so neat to hold it in your hand. It's a bit magnifying. The planet balls are inset into a 2D plastic film disc imprinted with orbits and some moons. The planets are 3D. Then the entire assembly is encased in a glass orb. Timeless wonderment. Great quality and craftsmanship.

So I can't get over the fact that when I opened the box after taking out the protective foam (which btw I feel should be cut to size and not ripped off the way it was) that the seller had places Peppa Pig and Mickey Mouse stickers in the package 😁😂 10/10 lol but in all reality the product is beautiful and it's placed in the box so well. Again my only dislike was the way the foam was ripped off and not cut but other than that everything is great!
