I want to love this product...

I want to love this product, I really do. I was excited to find a freezable non-plastic product. I followed the directions to get rid of the rather bad smell. And now, after repeated washings both by hand and in the dishwasher, my cuts (seem to) permanently smell of vinegar. Not good. They work well, which is why I'm giving 3 stars, but there is a definite issue with them harboring smells, and Jokel's recommendation doesn't seem to fix it. :(

Awesome "Pink" Red Cup when on the go

These cups are great for any outdoor activity. I bought these specifically for use when playing softball or golfing. I regularly play in a beer league softball but unfortunately not all teams know they play in a beer league and take themselves a little too seriously. In comes the Jokel silicone pint and no one is the wiser. If you play slow pitch softball and don't drink then you are cheating in my opinion. As for golf, I also like to partake in a few adult beverages when hitting the links and these fit in my bag without taking up any space and obviously the unbreakable aspect is a huge bonus. Who needs to pay outrageous club house prizes when many golf bags come with a built in cooler? Again, with my Jokel pint glass, no one can even tell where I purchased my beer. The only reason for the 4 star (4.5 if I could) and not 5 is that the description on these cups said they were red. Well, these are definitely pink and not red. I can live with pink because of the sheer convenience and quality of the cups but I would have much preferred a true red. Still a great purchase.

Jökel Unbreakable Squishy Pint Glasses

I didn't quite know what to expect when I ordered these pint glasses, because when you hear "squishy" you would think they would easily collapse, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Even though these Jökel Unbreakable Squishy Pint Glasses are made of silicone, they are very sturdy and don't collapse at all when you are using them. Some silicone product have an odor to them, but I haven't noticed any with these glasses. These squishy pint glasses are a great alternative to glass or plastic cups, since you don't have to worry about breaking anything, and you are being environmentally friendly by not having to throw anything away. These pint glasses also clean up very easily, either just washing them out by hand or putting them in the dishwasher. You can take these pint glasses basically anywhere and you don't have to worry about breaking them in transit. They are a great little product. I purchased this product at a promotional discount price for testing purposes and for my honest review.

Fun.

Silicon is insulated, so much less sweating/condensation when you have ice cold liquid in the cup, compared to normal cups/glasses.

The only thing I don't like is that the silicon does absorb the color of whatever you pour into it.

For instance, since I drink a lot of Pepsi, this glass has a brown color near the brim.

Scrubbing can remove most of it. But I wish it repelled colors.

Bought these for Hubby. I washed them upon receiving them, and when Hubby saw them, he immediately used one. The can of soda he poured fit perfectly. It held up nicely and wasn't too squishy for grabbing. The only problem he encountered was the cup holder in his chair - the cup is just barely too short to make it easy to place and remove the cup without squeezing too much and spilling the drink. But that's a chair problem, not a cup problem. I'm looking forward to trying it out.

I have the Jokel squishy wine glasses so I was so excited when I saw they were selling the pint glasses and couldn't wait to try them for my vodka sodas! They arrived and night and didn't disappoint! In fact they are better than I expected! They are thicker than I expected so they are very sturdy! I really like that they are heavy but still lighter than glass even loaded up with ice! Mine had no order at all! I love these and will continue to buy more for me and for gifts as well!

Great Alternative to Glass Pints

I purchased the Jökel Squishy Pint Glass Set (frosted color). They are quite nice for drinking beer. The thick silicone walls of the "glass" have a substantial feel in the hand and minimize heat transfer to beer. And if perhaps one is over-served, there is no chance cracking glass against one's front teeth or breakage of pint glasses from overzealous cheers of overindulgent friends -- although you will have to produce your own "clink clink" sound effect to consummate the well wishes.

While you may still cry over spilled milk, there will be no shards of glass to cause distress.These unbreakable glasses would be ideal for children who tend to drop things and elderly who may have grip problems or for use on boats with expensive gel coat finishes and crabby captains. And what a great stocking stuffer this would be -- Sláinte!

Awesome cups!

These cups are great for outdoors and perfect for camping. No more worrying about cheap plastic cups blowing away once they're empty!! They are nice and sturdy but also just flexible enough. They do have a tiny bit of a smwll when you first open them but it goes away after washing!

Previous reviews are pretty spot on. Good size and stable. Silicone should be washed prior to use and will never replace the great taste of liquids out of real glass. I don't detect a strong smell but you can tell it's not glass. The red color is more "pinkish" but I do love the color. These cups are perfect for the pool or anywhere you wouldn't want broken glass. I would buy again.

I purchased these for my nephew for his last semester in college. They will stand up to anything he puts them through and will be the "go to" beer glasses for him through the semester and the future. Very smart product and in the future I look forward to purchasing some for me!
