Such a fun hammock! I bought one of these last month and I learned how to set it up and adjust it in my backyard. After I got comfortable with the ratchets I took it out to Washington Park here in Denver. The rangers shut that down pretty quickly so think of that when you purchase (Can't attach anything to the trees). I bought the black mesh one which turned out to be a mistake. The fabric has already ripped and it's continuing to rip. I am guessing it was one of the ratchets in the bag and it was snagged. I sent Tentsile and inquiry and they said I must of cut it with something and that it would not be covered under warranty, for that I give them a low score here to warn others about that issue. I've only set it up a few times now and even took my shoes off when I got onto it so I feel as if I was careful enough. Still fun, just wish it was more durable or that they would of replaced it.

When I first heard about Tentsile, I was extremely excited about it but never thought I would be able to afford it. Luckily, they came out with the Trillium which fit my needs perfectly! It is larger than I thought it would be and much more durable than I expected being that it is made out of mesh and seat belt straps. The mesh looks nearly identical to the mesh on the seats in my 2006 Toyota Tacoma TRD, which is cool. I set it up a couple times in the park behind my house and was surprised by how quickly I was able to get it setup. It immediately drew attention from many of the joggers/cyclists whizzing by in the park. The next time I set it up, I set it up as high as I possibly could and bought a climbing ladder to get my but up there. Perfect. Later on, I took the Trillium to Arkansas on a bike-packing trip with some friends. I utilized a Kelty Noah's Tarp 20 as a massive 20'X20' canopy that covered the Trillium and our camp site. All 4 of us were able to hang out in this thing, high and dry. Overall, this is a great product. I am looking into buying another so I can stack them on top of each other and eventually quit my job and live in the trees.

This bad boy is a champ. Once i found the right trees, it took me 5 minutes to set up my first try. It can hold about twelve 8 year olds comfortably, and keep them distracted for over an hour.

I LOVE my Trillium Hammock

I've owned my trillium for a year now and use it all the time. I liked it so much that I bought the tentsile connect tree tent as well so I can stack them for the best camping experience ever. The trillium is perfect for afternoon chillin and holds 3 or 4 ppl comfortably. Set up is easy if u have the perfect trees and can take as little as 5 min. Sometimes you can't find the perfect trees and you can't set it up at all. I got the black mesh which is great for Florida because it's breathable and also has more "give" to it so is more comfortable than the green tarp model. I have the green tarp style on my connect tent. I saw other reviews talking about the mesh ripping- don't be dump and snag it on the metal rachett straps. I always keep my shoes on and you can fully stand up on it. It's super strong and has a 1000lbs weight capacity. If you can't tell, I highly recommend getting a trillium hammock.

I won't go in to the positives other people mentioned in the review.. It is pretty cool thing to have in your backyard. Just like someone mentioned before. the stitching on this thing is all over the place. It makes me think even I can sew better than this.. Does it still work, yeah. Does it bother me? Yeah, little bit. But my main complain is the fact that tie down ratchet it comes with is a garbage. It does its job but it is a pain to loosen it. Unlocking tab is metal and hard to push down. You have to have fingers of steel to push down the tab. I had to use large screw driver to loosen it. I went to Costco and bought a set of tie down ratchets and replaced it. It uses different type of locking mechanism and has protective rubbers to make it easier to use,

i set it up in my yard the first weekend in june as

part of a family camp out. it was the most popular hangout the entire weekend. the teen boys claimed it as their sleeping space. really it is an adult treehouse. i have it anchored 10 feet up in the trees so got the rope ladder for it but also used a conventional ladder for the less nimble.

the trillium is far more comfortable than a conventional hammock. i've left it up all summer and use it regularly for a nap or just to hang out. it has held up well thus far. i plan to buy the stingray and stack it above the trillium.

Take hammocks to a new level! I had 6 kids hanging from the tentsile-3 inside and 3 independent hammocks at each D ring. The trillium was a great platform for gear or lounging. you won't be hiking this up the trail too far-it's more of a car camping event. It was a sad day when the trillium came down and got packed back up. It's well made, super strong and great for families of all ages. It took some time to find a good set of trees to use but it will be quicker now that I know what to look for. Make sure and watch all of their videos before you head out with it.

Tentsile is everything. It brings a whole new world to camping. I would highly recommend trying this out whether you are going camping with a big group or just want a fun different take on a backyard hammock.

Bought this for out at our cabin and so far everyone (kids and adults) love it. It was pretty easy to set up the first time and now that we have identified a good spot for it, can get it totally set in less than 10 minutes. The materials are all quality. It seems tough, like it'll last us quit a while.
