The hinges (screws) that connect to the part that holds the bike to the part that goes into the wall completely came out of the wood and cracked the wood when I put my bike on it for the first time. I have a fully carbon bike (and it's a women's frame), it's one of the lightest bikes on the market. There is absolutely no reason this should have happened with a bike this light. This is a very poorly made product. Spend the extra money and get something that is made well.

Poorly made and broke off the wall

I loved the look a day design and for a few months it held by 18lb road bike without a issue. Upon installing I noticed how the hinges had different size screws and many were lose in addition to that it used very thing finish nails, like staple width. Also the rubber guards always were coming off from a poor glue job.

Fast forward 3 months and I put a heavier bike on it about 25-30lb beach cruiser...the top shelf ripped right off the wall lucky I was there to catch the bike.

I went about repairing it with better hardware and all the wood split when screwing it back into place...

You get what you pay for...or less....I'll pay double for something that won't damage my bike or my house next time.

Quality rack but broke

Update: hears a crash, bike on the floor. Lasted about 7 months before breaking. Hoping I can fix it with some screws but will see. Could have used some heavier duty hinges. Also bike was never taken down and within the weight limit, product just failed.

Needed something to store the bike in my entryway and this was perfect. Went up easy, looks good holding my bike.

Very happy with the rack. Eady to put together and if you have to hang your bike in a room with people (like in a townhouse), this was the best way I found to accomplish that.

Not ready for Prime Time

Great idea...just not ready for prime time. Out of the box a piece fell out that I had to screw back in. Also doesn't lie flush against the wall. The company was great at communication, but never really offered to do anything about the product.

Just got the rack via UPS. Pulled it out of the box, and the bamboo is separated. It's unusable. The box wasn't damaged. Now I have to hassle with a return.

I like the design and the product, but it arrived with a crack (through the entire mounting board) that I had to repair before installing. Looks great on the wall, but I was disappointed in the quality for the price paid. I didn't give the seller a chance to do anything about this and I wasn't prepared to go through the whole return refund thing so I can't comment on how responsive they might've been.

This is an amazing product!! I received this the other day and it was so easy to put up and install everything for installation came with the rack, the only thing I used in addition was a stud finder which can be purchased almost anywhere for cheap. I live in a small apartment and having this rack makes my apartment look bigger now that my bike is no longer on the floor. It is very sturdy and quality made and looks really nice when its hanging. I love that there is a shelf on top for anything that may go along with your bike. Overall this is an amazing product and I m so glad I got it. I received it at a discounted rate for my honest review and I will definitely be buying another one of these if I get any more bikes in the future. It is a must have!
