This will be a long review. I'm giving this pillow two stars for a couple reasons. I have very specific needs when it comes to a pillow. I'm a back sleeper, and therefore I like to have a enough "fluff" on either side of my face so that I can rest my cheeks on while keeping my neck supported. When I first got this pillow it worked wonderfully for about the first three nights. Then the center section became really hard and rounded and I could not get comfortable. So I decided to cut open the pillow and take out a little bit of the fluff in the center divider. That worked for a few nights as well but then it's still became hard again, I was still lacking enough support on either side of my face and wound up turning my head completely to the side, giving myself a neck pains in the morning. So I decided since I already paid for the pillow and cut it open, I couldn't return it or use any kind of warranty, I decided to reconstruct my own pillow since I've already been through six different pillows trying to find something that would help. So I separated the three different compartments and stitched straight down the center of the pillow so that my head would rest in the new stitched crease and I would have a fluff I need it on either side of my head. P. S. This pillow is full of cotton and pieces of plastic ( shredded grocery bags)

I like this pillow. I have horrible TMJ and have had surgery once on my jaws. My pillows revolve around that life. I have tried so many that were not good and was using the same foam pillow for years past its prime. This one works really well for side sleepers with TMJ. your head will rest naturally on one of the creases and then the sides are taller, providing an area of support against your jaw. Its a great pillow.

Based on the multiple reviews in Amazon, I ordered the firm Sleep Yoga Dual Position neck Pillow, but it was too hard for my neck. So, when Albert from Sleep Yoga contacted me regarding the recently purchased pillow, I told him that it was too hard and that I should have ordered the medium-soft one. I asked him if an exchange was possible, and to my surprise he told me that I could keep the pillow, and that Sleep Yoga would send me a medium-soft pillow at no cost. Needless to say, I was delighted and very thankful for the fantastic customer service at Sleep Yoga.

Great supportive pillow

This pillow has good support for the neck. I have purchased so many different types of pillows. I thought the last pillows I purchased would be my last, but eventually my pain came back. I have severe back problems and suffer from migraines. The first night sleeping with this pillow I noticed when I woke up that my neck didn't hurt. The indentation in the middle is good as well keeping pressure off of the ears. I do wish it was a little bit fuller on the neck support part of the pillow and maybe a layer of memory foam as the outside layer, but other than that, it's a wonderful pillow.

To say that this is medium firm is ridiculous. It's much more like an extra firm density. I wanted this pillow so my head could lay back while my neck was supported, like the natural curve in the spine should be. This is entirely too firm to do so and the center section is way too thick. Furthermore there are no returns so even when the product doesn't meet your expectations you can't get any money back. How disappointing.

I am not sure how this pillow got so many good reviews. The middle section is so hard and rounded you cannot even rest your head on it. It is horrible! I knew right away it wouldn't work - I didn't even take it out of its plastic because I wanted to return it. I wasn't happy to see that this item CANNOT be returned. I now am stuck with a completely unusable $25 pillow. My family all agree that there is no way anyone could sleep on it - the large hump right in the middle would cause neck problems - which is what I was trying to alleviate by purchasing this pillow. Very disappointed. It it NOT worth spending $25 on before being able to feel it and know if it will work for you (not sure how it would work for anyone). Buyer beware!

Good for back sleepers.

I bought this pillow because I typically sleep on my side and get shoulder pain depending on which side I lay on. This pillow did not help that issue, but what it did do was help me to be able to sleep on my back instead. That position definitely is a lot better for my shoulders. It lets me turn my head slightly to the side by providing support for my head in this position.

I really love this pillow. I have used it every night since it arrived and have been very happy with it. I have had it for about a month. Every change in position during sleep is accommodated by the shape of the pillow, and my head feels like it is nestled in place very naturally. I am glad that I decided to try this pillow after my last one gave out. There is no need to 'shape' the pillow by folding or pushing it into shape as the shape it has is just right. I hope that it holds up for a long time.

I purchased this item very recently (within one month) and the pillow is already starting to flatten out and is not providing me with the cervical support it initially did. For the cost of this product, I expect longevity. Very disappointing.

Disappointed in this pillow, I was looking for something that would support my neck at night and not wake up with a stiff neck, this didn't work out for me. To try and sleep on this pillow in the position shown in the photo above, is like sleeping without a pillow at all.
