Jar opener works great for all sizes of jars/bottles - large and small! Now I can open jars I had trouble opening before - with much less strain on my arthritic hands! Easy to place under a cupboard out of site, but convenient to use in that location also. Comes with good adhesive so I did not have to use screws to attach it. Fast and easy to attach -- good directions also. I liked it so much that I gave one to a friend, and she's planning to buy ones for other friends. Nice product.

We absolutely love our jar holder. We have had one in the last three houses we lived in. They are easy to install and work like a charm. The reason we never took our jar holder with us when we moved was because we felt we wanted the new owners to enjoy the use of this product as we did. We just ordered more. Two in a package for the price is a deal. We also buy them for gifts. One small drawback is that you are supposed to put up with double stick tape which worked well in some of our houses. However, newer cabinets have finishes underneath the cabinets that are very smooth and the double stick tape will not work. We installed with small screws and are enjoying the product as usual. Highly recommend!!

Few people know about this contraption. There was one in our old house when we bought it. When we moved 15 years later, I had to get one for the new place. I use it all the time. Opens any kind of bottle. As I am now in my 60's, it's even more valuable!

Great openers. AND, this new model comes with slab of nice, thick, double sided foam tape to mount under the cabinet without screws That made for a quick installation and working fine so far. CAVEAT: If you expect to move the unit to a new location soon you may want to use screws.

We had the earlier version of this same opener in three locations. Don't know how you could have a better device.

Don't worry about the two-pack. If you don't need two, someone you know needs one as a gift!

I love this jar opener because I have arthritis in both hands, especially my thumbs, and now I can actually open jars by myself! The pain has been getting worse and I couldn't open anything without asking for help. It keeps me independent in the kitchen, and I don't have to bug people to open jars for me. Good product. I would recommend this to anyone with arthritis pain in their hands.

I cannot say enough good things about this Jar Opener. For starters, I drink a lot of bottled Water. As you know, the lids are very small and hard to open. It works perfectly with these small lids, I don't even bother to open them with my hands any more when I am home. I have opened several sized lids, all with the same outcome, no strain, very easy open. I just ordered 2 more sets as Christmas gifts for my best friend and my Mother-in-law.

FYI- They come with screw holes but no screws. No problem for me, but just thought you would like to know.

I have not gotten these free or discounted in any way. I just wanted to share my experience because I was so impressed with this jar opener.

With arthritis I really have a problem getting jar tops off of new bottles. This is now so easy and the no tools required for installation is a big plus. I do, however, plan to reinforce the mounting with a couple of screws as soon as I can get one of my grandsons off his lazy butt. But, I won't go there. I just enjoy getting jar lids off with little trouble. Buy it, you will love it too.

Life Saver

I broke my wrist and elbow on my right arm and it was out of commission for months. Home occupational therapist found these for me so I could manage water bottles and jars on my own. They stick up under the cabinets and stay there. They work like a charm. Wish I would have gotten it years ago. I love that it is hidden but always out at the same time. No counter space lost. Not one more thing in the drawer. Highly recommended to anyone with arthritis or just recovering from injury or surgery.

Perfect for weak hands!

I really love this jar opener. It has saved me a lot of foul language and pain from trying to get stubborn jars and bottles open. My hands are weak and painful from nerve damage, and this makes opening jars a breeze, whereas it would have been very difficult before. Just put the jar snuggly in the teeth, and twist with both hands. Easy. It does cut into lids a little bit, but this isn't really a problem more than mere aesthetics. It does have metal teeth, and they're fairly sharp, so watch that. I love it so much that I gave the spare one to my dad, and recommend it to my family.

Wouldn't Stick

I pressed the jar opener hard onto the base of one of my faux-wood kitchen cabinets, after inspecting for any dirt or unevenness, but it fell off after a few days. Tried again and same story. I eventually slathered on some fast-dry super glue, and that finally made it stay. Functionality is good now that it's in one place though, since I always have trouble opening jars as a non-arthritic weakling.
