This is perfect! I got this for my fiance as a present. He hasn't opened it yet but this is so cute that I literally want to give it to him early! It is nicely made. The only flaw, which won't be paid attention to, is in the center of the glass ball, you can see where one of the planets's halves were not properly touching so it doesn't make a perfect circle. But that's okay. It doesn't take away from how much I love this. This will look great in my fiance's office. And it comes in a cute orange box and on the inside the Styrofoam that the ball and mount sit in, is wrapped in an orange silk like fabric. It looks very nice and now I don't have to worry about re wrapping it.

Stand came in chipped and discolored..

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend and I was excited to give it to him. To my disappointment, when received the paint along the sides of the stand was chipped and discolored. While the sphere itself was great, when the box was opened there was also a great deal of dust (or some sort of powdery substance) that also had to be cleaned off the sphere and stand. The stand I can touch up, but you should really take a look at the quality of the product before you ship it out.

Many people ask me about this product. I bought it for myself to put on my work desk. I have an office window and the morning light makes neat shadows on the desk. Even without the morning light going through it, it looks very fancy - much more so than the price. And it hasn't picked up obvious fingerprints as I was afraid it was going to (even though people do handle it). If a gift to someone else, it comes in a nice box.

This thing is honestly really cool!

My only gripe with this product is that the stand is not as dark at pictured, it's more of a lighter wood. But if that's not an issue for you than great! The packaging was really nice and held everything where it's supposed to be.

This beautiful crystal ball fits so comfortably in your hand, for meditation, or just musings about our place in the Solar System. It sits nicely in its wooden stand, a wee conversation piece for the office. Why have just a paper weight...when you can have your own orb piece of the universe!

I love the nice box it came in. It is a little top heavy, the base needs to be bigger and the wood looks a little cheap. Still worth it though....considering the price! That is my only complaint. The sphere is beautiful, planets are perfect!
