Mom wanted to do away with the traditional candle, and instead had asked me to get this for her birthday this year. It just arrived at the house, and it is perfect! :D Came with batteries already, lights up and flashes just as its described on the packaging and in the listing. Found out it does turn itself off after a few seconds, so you don't have to worry about remembering to switch it off, which was nice. Would definitely purchase from this seller again; thank you!

When first opened & started the flashing, made me smile. I love it-but it really is for my niece who is turning 28 & has been a 'retro' girl for years. I'm old enough to remember/know the first Las Vegas (welcome) sign, so hope she 'gets' it. The flashing goes from top to bottom in the 4 different levels & keeps repeating it's self for the 45 seconds the directions say. Making a 'retro' Birthday cake of another topic but this will look cute on top (there 2 'legs/sticks at bottom to stick into the cake).

Used this on top of a casino themed birthday cake. It's really neat how it blinks when you push the button. I was worried it would be flimsy but it's really sturdy and larger than I thought. I'm really pleased with my purchase.

Bought this to put on my son's 21st birthday cake...his cake theme was "Las Vegas". He, and along with everyone else, was surprised that it flashed and lit up. I was very happy with this purchase and am glad I bought it.
