There's a way to tweak the gauntlet so it fits better!!!
by T'WIL (5 out of 5 stars)

Unboxing the gauntlet felt like getting another gift from my childhood similar to when I opened the SNES Mini!!! Everything from the detail, weight, lights and sounds made purchasing the Infinity Gauntlet well worth the $100 price tag. However wearing the gauntlet and moving all the fingers especially the pinky and thumb proved to be difficult and painful.

So I decided to customize it which I did by taking out the 10 or so screws that were holding the gauntlet together and removed the top half of the grip bar. I then wrapped the bottom half with cloth and tape. The adjusted grip bar was now slimmer and provided me the additional room needed to both hold the bar and work all the finger levers. Now both our daughter and I can wield the most powerful weapon in the Marvel Universe without pain!!! If the stones were magnetic so they could be removed and if it had the option to mute the booming sound effects yet still work the fingers that would have made this perfect!

But it is still a RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME item to have and I will be wearing it to the Infinity War premier...WAKANDA FOREVER!!!

Buyer beware!

WARNING: I just received my infinity gauntlet complete with all the infinity stones, and it was easy, I didn't have to travel across the galaxy or fight any "superheros" to get it. But beware, as soon as I got it I wanted to test it out, so I put it on and accidentally snapped my fingers. I used to be married with 2 kids, but now I'm a single father of 1. In a way this isn't that bad because now things are perfectly balanced, as all things should be.

I had been expecting this to be one of the 2018 Marvel Legends releases and though it came earlier than expected it did not surprise me in the least when the listing appeared on Amazon. This thing is huge and highly detailed. It has lights and sounds which I'm assuming are accurate. I love it, this will probably be my final Marvel piece. The only downsides come with this being what it is... A big plastic fist: the joints and screw holes take away from this feeling like a legit prop replica. They hid them very well with Iron Man's helmet and Cap's shield, but those are very different items and it's much easier to disguise them in those scenarios. I'm also not in love with the look of the Infinity Stones, but this is still the best gauntlet in this price range. Being able to tap the mind gem for short term lights and sounds or long press it for a much longer display time is great, as is being able to lock the fingers by using the switch. Battery placement is fine (different parts of the listing say that it takes AA or AAA batteries, it's AA). If you're looking for an Infinity Gauntlet this is the one to get, but don't pay more than retail.

Great if it is not DEFECTIVE. ***BEWARE***
by Eric (1 out of 5 stars)

This item looks and sounds great when it works. My son loved playing with it. He received it as a birthday present. PROBLEM 1: The first one we received the thumb stopped making sound when you bent it down after about an hour of playing with it. We contacted Amazon and they arranged for a quick replacement with two day delivery. My son was excited that he was getting a new one so fast. PROBLEM 2: My son was very disappointed with the replacement toy. The second one we received as a fix for the first one had a defective index finger. It made no sound when it was bent down or returning to its original position. This one was also covered with oil and was a big mess. From a child's point of view that was very disappointing because he received yet another defective birthday present. From my point of view, this is getting to be a real pain in the a** and consuming way too much time. One not working, okay I am easy to work with, I know that sometimes goofy things happen. Two not working is an obvious issue with Hasbro quality control (if they even have any) and is completely unacceptable. PROBLEM 3: We tried to arrange another exchange, but the only option Amazon offered was to get a refund through an Amazon gift card once they receive the defective toy back, not even giving me my cash back if I wanted that, thus forcing me to spend the money on Amazon. Not a very customer focused resolution. Granted, in this instance I am going to order yet another one (third) and hope that one works, but Amazon should give a person's money back for them to use as they feel necessary. If it was bought in a store they would give me the money back with no questions. I hope this third one works, my son is able to enjoy a working toy, and I can be finished with this process. We will have to wait and see. Anyone else having any of those issues?

Misrepresentation of product

Misrepresentation of product purchased. The large black box with a mechanical moving arm is what was displayed for purchase, however I received the picture of a rubber thanos glove also found at $13-$15. Very disappointing. Found similar review of same occurrence with same vendor. Buyer beware

I absolutely love the Infinity Gauntlet
by Claude Jordan (5 out of 5 stars)

I bought two of these. One for myself and one as a prize during a screening of the movie. I absolutely love the Infinity Gauntlet. I do wish the speaker was a higher quality and the sound was crisper but that's secondary to this piece's awesomeness. The articulation works well and the finger rings inside are in a pretty good spot. It is a really fun toy and I can spend the whole day wearing it and messing with people. I highly recommend this item. I really want another for myself but the prices have skyrocketed to 200%-300%. I don't foresee the prices coming down anytime soon, not after that great movie and the next one to come.

Give Someone the Cosmic Middle Finger
by Jake (5 out of 5 stars)
April 3, 2018

This thing is great. Details are fantastic, the lights are super bright, the sounds are clear and loud.

It is MASSIVE, and that may actually be one of the slight drawbacks. My hands are incredibly average in size, and it's a tad uncomfortable for me to be able to grip the bar on the inside, and fit all of my fingers through the control rings. Well, I should say I really only have difficulty with the thumb. Not really an issue if you're mainly just going to display it and maybe play around with it from time to time. If you're going to use this as a part of a costume or anything, you might want to bear that in mind.

The only other drawback that I can think of for me personally is that it'd be nice if they had thrown in a way to disable the Auto-On for the sound whenever you articulate the fingers, or maybe just a lights-only mode. I know it has a "Display Mode" where the lights will stay on for up to an hour, and the sounds are great and all, but sometimes they can be a little much if you're just messing around with it. Unless there's something I'm missing, you have to take out the batteries if you want to use it without sound. But then you lose the lights as well.

THE END IS NEAR

This glove is AWESOME! I can't get it off my son's arm. He loves it so much. This is a quality replica. Great detailing throughout. The stones are perfect and the sounds are awesome. Locking mechanism works great. It's a little pricey at $100, but this is how toys should be. Made everyone smile.

At last! The Elusive Gauntlet Is Mine!
by Draw1967 (5 out of 5 stars)

Ever since this product was first announced months ago, I've been on my own personal little Infinity-Quest to own one of these toys. No sooner would an initial batch be made available at the going retail price ($99.00) they would sell-out within a few days and then the avaricious 3rd-party sellers would swoop-in with their outrageous mark-ups of double and triple the price while essentially making the product financially unattainable for a majority of potential buyers. Luckily, my patience finally paid-off and I managed to secure one directly from Amazon at the regular retail-price. Purely as a stand-alone display piece, this is a quality looking plastic replica. It's surprisingly bright with the lights out and while the finger-mechanisms take a few seconds of practice to get use to, one can mimic most common hand/finger configurations easily enough. I will say that the hand-bar inside of the glove can make the palm of your own hand a bit sore after too-much activity but, that is a very minor negative. Sideshow Collectibles will soon be producing a museum-quality prop gauntlet for nearly $1,000. Since few people can justify such an indulgence, this Hasbro Infinity-Gauntlet is the very next best thing and should more than satisfy the cosmic desires of super-hero geeks of all ages! ;-)
