Not perfect

The concept is good but I still find myself needing to scoop the litter box at times. The litter I use is on the finer side and it can seep down through the lower layers. Plus the sides aren't high so my cat gets litter all over the floor.

The slots are too wide and if you do not put a lot of litter the liquid goes through the litter and through to the next tray.

--------------------------------------update after 6 months-------------------------------------- coating fades away with poisonous car urine. gone. now sticks like aich ee el el MAIN PROBLEM is urine drains down to the holes and it does not dry completely compared to the flat bottom surface. there is always wet urine smells bad left in the holes....which means if you change the top layer box to bottom, you are moving a dirty layer to the bottom. since there is litter sticking to the surface of layers there has a gap in between. I see urine drained through holes and there is urine leak at the bottom layer, all the time. which means it ruined my carpet and I had to wash it every week. and washing it is PAIN IN THE ASS process because of its TOO MANY HOLES AND COMPLICATED SHAPE!!!!! so I just threw it away and bought $9 simple litter box and am so much HAPPIER.
