It was flying insect week at the daycare. Bought these and they were a hit! The butterflies are well made and durable. They work best if placed under an object, or in a book.

Neat product, fast service. Nice package. Too bad after all the good things they fail at the gluing of the wings. The one thing they HAVE to get right and they blow it. Easy fix but why am I doing their job?

After hearing from the company with an apology and an offer to refund or redo my order I am satisfied. I did not take advantage of there offer as I feel they are sincere in running a quality company. Thank you.

These are fun. They are awesome to put in a greeting card to surprise the recipient, but I confess to entertaining my cats with them. These crank up with a simple rubber band mechanism. They work best held flat unless you out them in an envelope or a book...which also puts them flat. They fly fast but not far. They are fun, and I love them. They seem fairly durable, too.

Initially I liked that they were bigger than I thought but once I took two out of the package and a wing was broken on each one, I was not happy. ... On one of the unbroken, I twisted rubber band 40 times as recommended but it zipped out of the card with a card in bike wheel spokes noise and crashed down without really being able to tell it was even a butterfly!

SO, I'm a little bit of a prankster. I haven't had the chance to give these away yet. Waiting for a birthday in a month...but I did fiddle around with them. You crank up a beautiful butterfly (size of your hand) and place it in a card. Then when you open the card, the butterfly quickly comes flying out to the surprise of the recipient. hahaha. I can't wait to give this to my sister. :P

My daughter used one of these to prank her friend for her bday. Let me tell you, this was the hit of the party! Everyone wanted to take a turn and let the butterfly flutter around. Not sure who came up with this, but they're great! Highly recommend!

My kids enjoyed these. Just be careful not to wind it so tight that the rubber band breaks. I put one of these in a card for my 88 year old grandmother. It scared her. But after the fact, she could not stop laughing and was happy that someone was willing to give her a little excitement instead of trying to keep everything quiet around her.

Could not get any of the butterflies to fly. I was very disappointed. It is definitely a wonderful idea. Just needs some tweaking on the design side. One the the butterflies actually broke while twisting the rubber band. The rest of them just "flew" to the floor. I hate leaving a bad review. I hope in the future they will be able to improve these.

They were fun for about 15 minutes. They don't exactly "fly". The body of the butterfly is a rubber band, you twist the top part to basically wind the rubber band and when you let go the butterfly goes really fast in whatever direction it chooses and slam into whatever it hits first. 2 of them broke after only a couple turns because the rubber bands were all dried out. Wouldn't waste the money again. 2 stars because it at least amused my 3 yr old for a bit.
