This is an *amazing* running stroller. Being able to run and move naturally (i.e., swinging arms) is soooo nice! This is the best running stroller you will ever get and the only running stroller in the market at this time. If you are a runner (not a "jogger") and a parent, this stroller is what you need. Our baby is 5 months old, barely 15lbs. She can sit with some support and she does great in the Kidrunner. She usually falls right to sleep after 5 mins or so. She is too small for a helmet, but we determined that even if she toppled over, she would be safe in the Kidrunner cabin.

True Innovation for Parent Runners

The kidRunner is fundamental equipment for anyone that has a passion for running, and being the best kind of parent. One who teaches by example :0). I had been running on and off with those Schwing push strollers. You know the ones (think running awkwardly with t-rex arms). I received, and have been using my own kidRunner since the beginning of June. I have no desire to run with a push stroller again.. the one we have will soon be donated.

The best things about the kidRunner:
- Getting to comfortably run hands-free while hauling the most precious little co-pilot is extremely satisfying.
- The little-copilot gets to see you the entire time! I can turn around and pass the baby my ball cap.
- I was able to adjust the kidRunner for my hobbit size of 5'2" for a very comfortable fit.
- The equipment is loaded with quick release mechanisms that make the stowing and adjusting experience feel very comfortable.
- From the way the cockpit can be adjusted, to the breakdown, the breathable waist mesh, the rear light for night time runs. The equipment screams innovation. I love being able to feel that my kidRunner equipment was engineered with extreme care.
- The components are light and high grade. I'm a relatively new long distance runner. I was able to complete a half marathon while hauling my 2 year old son.
- The approving glances, high fives and positive feedback you get during races from other running parents is almost magical. It definitely fuels my run.
- The jealous glares your spouse will get from ladies (or gentlemen) who now covet your sexy baby-hauling running prowess. ;0)

The cons:
- Currently there is no way to haul a second child :0) I would seriously love to daisy chain baby #2.

KidRunner feels weightless!

I purchased my KidRunner before it was available on Amazon. Since this product is new to Amazon, I am providing this review so that other buyers can learn about it. If anyone has tried to run while pushing a jogging stroller, you would know how miserable it feels; the biggest issue in my opinion is that you lose your natural upper body biomechanics/arm swing. This is why my original jogging stroller sits in my garage collecting dust. KidRunner solves this problem by pulling your child with the harness attached to your waste. The photo makes it look heavy but it is not because the weight of KidRunner and your child is centered over the wheels. It feels weightless and a video is probably the best way to help you understand how it works; my favorite video of KidRunner is on youtube and all you have to do is search "Max King Wins BigFoot 10K with Kidrunner"; in the video you will see how an elite runner can run with normal biomechanics while pulling his daughter in KidRunner; they won the 10K at a pace of 5:22 per mile!. Finally, my daughter loves it!!! She is 3 years old and we usually talk while I jog; I think she is content that I am in her direct vision. She also often takes naps which means it is a comfortable ride for her. I highly recommend KidRunner for any parent who wants to enjoy hiking, jogging and the outdoors with their kid.

Love the Kidrunner

I love the kidrunner!!!! I had been searching for a product like this since before my child was born and am so happy its finally available!!! Running with your arms free is so much easier and more natural that pushing a traditional jogging stroller. The kidrunner is well designed and the team put the time and effort in to add lots of nice features. There are pockets in the cockpit for your little ones snack or juice, a five point harness, a dog tie off, and the fork plate and wheels easily come off with quick connects and there is a sunshade.

If you are looking for the best and most natural way to run with your child the Kid Runner is the clear best way to go.

great customer service, great product

We received our KidRunner in anticipation of being able to use it in the fall with our baby daughter. It has been a great experience purchasing this product as Will, the owner is in direct contact with me and readily available to answer any questions - amazing customer service. We considered getting a Bob, however it is significantly heavier than our KidRunner and impedes normal arm swing. Our KidRunner was very easy to assemble and we can't wait to run with it in a few months!
