I would absolutely love it if it didn't make the very load noise when the mouth is moving, like a squeaky wheel. Big disappointment.

"Talking" hat doesn't talk; hurts to wear

The whole point of this product is that 1) It would talk & 2) A child could wear it on their head. Ours arrived broken/not talking, and it is too painful/has sharp edges to wear on my 10-year-olds head. This has been an epic fail (though it does look cool). To add insult to injury, the return shipping costs were as much as the refund, so it wasn't even worth sending back. Don't advise it.

I bought this Harry Potter Sorting Hat for a birthday gift for my granddaughter. I received it in plenty of time, tried out the demo sounds by pushing the button and thought the hat worked. Flash forward to the birthday party and gift is given; granddaughter is thrilled. She opens the box, takes the hat out and it doesn't work. Mouth does not move or open as advertised. Purchased July 12, and opened August 17th. I have missed the return window and am not a happy buyer!!

I bought this for my daughter's bday and thought it'd make a fun centerpiece for a Harry Potter themed party. The motor that makes the hat move is SO LOUD you can't hear what it's saying. Buyer beware!

Unfortunately when it arrives it looked like it had been ran over by a truck and didn't work correctly. I got another and it works fine. It will only fit on the smallest of heads and has to be held on to do that it won't fall off. Its not as fun as my kids and I thought it would be and will become just another harry potter toy on a display shelf. Cool to look at but not a great toy at all.

Broken!

Broken, doesn't work at all. Says the words but none of the moving parts move.... Just make a bunch of clicks and sounds horrible. Didn't even come in the original packaging, they just crammed it folded up inside a box too small and stuffed a ton of packaging in there. Very disappointed.

The hat is great but the inside liner was small, hard plastic that was offset-a factory second. I took the small screws out of the band to release it and now it works great.
