Initially bought a TPR winder and not the quality I expected so returned it and bought this Wolf design Viceroy Double Winder. From the minute I unpacked the box, wrapped in a Wolf cloth and the box itself extremely made to placing my watches in the "cuffs" and setting each station to the correct winding settings, I knew this would be a keeper. I did have a concern and that was the "standard" cuffs that came with the winder seemed a bit too large for my watches that are on a deployment clasp. Yes I could get them to fit but had to squish the cuff to much. So I e-mailed Wolf directly and received a response very quickly. I explained my thoughts and they said they would ship me 2 smaller cuffs. I asked to please invoice me and they did but the invoice was ZERO! Yes not evening shipping charges. What GREAT customer support & service!

Love this Wolf winder only wish I could have afforded their triple winder.

Nice Looking and Works Well

As I've seen written elsewhere, the box is fairly large, but it's sharp looking and it suits its purpose well. Two small suggestions that detract from 5 stars. First, the collars you put the watches on are fairly large so have to be heavily compressed to fit a strap around, this can deform a strap. Supposedly smaller ones can be ordered, but it's a design flaw in my view. I've taken to not buckling the deployment tightly which seems to work. Second, the latch in the front is such that you have to push in a button and lift the top lid in order to access the front to put your watch on the winder. Pushing the button in takes a little bit of force, so that means you have to stabilize the whole thing with your other hand. It's fine, just a little more complicated than it needs to be. Overall though it's high quality, adjustable, and super quiet, so I'd buy it again.

This watch winder is so beautiful. I was honestly worried because the price was so good I was worried it would be some sort of knock off. Also, my fiance is quite picky with watches and such, but he opened this up on Christmas and was absolutely speechless. He LOVES it! It looks so sleek and expensive, and is everything the picture shows. So happy I was able to snag such a great deal on such an awesome product!

I have been using the Wolf design module 2.7 double watch winder for a few months so can give a review based upon short-term usage. I had previously used an inexpensive winder for a number of years which worked, but eventually caused problems with the delicate internal components of my automatic watches. While the Wolf is more expensive, it is still very reasonable compared to other watch winders whose cost can run into the thousands. Here are the Pros and Cons:

Pros:
-quality appearance
-accommodation for large bands
-extremely quiet operation
-backlit LCD display
-battery or plug-in operation
-easily programmable rotation options
-delayed start time
-top storage drawer for cufflinks, additional watch storage, etc.
-lockable

Cons:
-cumbersome opening mechanism
-Motors made in China
-large size

I agree with another reviewer that the mechanism to access the winder compartment by pushing the front button is a bit more cumbersome than it needs to be, but this alone does not take away from the good function of the winder. It is a solid unit and shipped very nicely with considerable padding and a nice storage box with a cloth cover. The aesthetics are very good as is the whisper quiet operation. The delay start option and programmable settings are essential for quality watches but are only available with the 2.7 model. You do have to go to another brand's website to determine the rotation settings for your particular watch, which is unfortunate and something Wolf should remedy. Otherwise, it seems that this winder does it's job well, but given the manufacturer of the motors, longevity is yet to be determined.

The price point just does not match the quality. Watching the marketing videos and reading the other reviews got me excited to house some of my favorite pieces. On arrival, right motor was not working (flashing red). The materials are and feel synthetic. If this were under $200 I wouldn't have a problem. I just don't like when items are overpriced and this is one of them.
