I have been looking for a basket for the bottom of my stairs to kind of be a "catch all" for items that need to go upstairs. I was never able to find one that didn't take up half of the width of the stairs. This was the perfect solution as it is large enough to hold a good amount of things, but compact enough to not get in the way of using the stairs. I love the looks of it as well!

I had knee replacement surgery and one of my knees is not doing. as good as the other, so the doctor told me to avoid stairs - especially carrying things up/down them - but I live in a split level. This was such a help! I can put some items in the basket and take the basket down when I do laundry..the same with going upstairs. It's easy to spot, not in the way, handy and very lightweight. You'll like this one...handier if you have kids too.

Love this basket! I've found it to be well made; I especially love that it is handmade. I will be filling the deep end with some pretty faux florals and greenery, and the shallow end is used to throw the (adult) kids' things in when I want them to take something upstairs. The fact that it's made in the USA is the icing on the cake. I've been wanting a basket like this since forever, and I think I'm going to get a second. I've gotten tons of compliments on it!

Nice Color and Size, but Minor Defect Noted

I like the color and size of this basket. However, one of the arms was bent when we took it out of the box. Because the wire is thick, it's not very easy to fix. I'm not planning to return it as the bend causes just a minor inconvenience - hopefully it was a one off situation. The basket has already gotten a lot of use from my young boys in collecting their items to go upstairs.

Returned because honestly the smell was unbearable. It felt like I had a hay bale in my house. The weave also snagged on things.

The basket arrived in perfect packaging - not too big and not too small - and was in perfect condition. It fits my stairs nicely and is handy for carting things up and down. The only thing I would change would be to have a divider between the shallow side and the deeper side, but that is a minor criticism. I love the basket and will get lots of use out of it. My cats love it too - they like the smell of the seagrass and love to rub their faces on the corners!

Love this basket. I placed it on the bottom step of the basement stairs where I can chuck my dirty dish towels into at the end of the night (washer is in the basement). I want to get another for the other set of stairs to the bedrooms so kids junk can be set in there for them to being up. Would definitely recommend.

Sturdy and fits well on the carpeted stairs. I am using it as a much needed collection point for mail that needs to go up to the office.Now only if it would empty itself.

The sea grass had an odor for a week or so, but it dissipated after a while. There are a number of loose grass ends sticking out. I'm not sure if I should cut them. Great for getting whatever needs to go upstairs without dropping anything!
