Very disappointed!
by Siri (1 out of 5 stars)

I was very disappointed! The actual magnet sizes are extremely small. The magnets come on a punch out board that measures 8x7 1/2 inches. All 49 pieces! 😠

Too small!!!
by Anonymous (2 out of 5 stars)

I didn't read the reviews before buying, unfortunately... These are tiny cardboard magnets, and can't even hold a tiny piece of paper to the fridge! They come on a little cardboard sheet where you can punch them out, which means they have little nubs on each piece. At least they're cute to decorate with...

Small and cheap-appearing.
by Beth (1 out of 5 stars)
December 17, 2016

I was surprised at the size of these. They are fingerprint sized! The quality is much less than expected too. In the photos, they appear to be plastic. However, they are thin cardboard and you have to pop them out of a board, leaving little cardboard tags on each piece (like a new boardgame.) They do not appear worth the orice listed. As a gift, they seem like a careless after thought, not a main gift for an office mate or secondary gift for a close friend.

catch 22

these were crazy cheaper than i'd imagined. they come in a magnetic sheet that you have to push out of its holder, and if you push them the wrong way (backside in) they won't work. they're really cute and interesting, only if you don't want them to hold a picture or any kind of document. no matter how many of these tetris pieces i put into place, they refuse to hold a picture or any kind of solidity. i'd recommend you use only these magnets if you have other magnets to support your photos. its a cute concept, but falls short. if you have good magnets, i highly recommend it.

Warning to Gameboy fridge owners
by Anna Reed (4 out of 5 stars)
January 4, 2019

These look so cute on my Gameboy fridge! The colors are great together. One thing to be aware of, however, is that these are magnets. If you are putting them over another magnetic sheet (like my Gameboy screen), they may flick themselves off of your fridge. They have North and South poles, which means they will only sit where you put them if they are positioned correctly. It's often hard to know which way to orient them, which means that you will drop them. A lot. See the video for a demonstration.

I also wish they were a little bit bigger for esthetic reasons. I wonder if that would help or if it would make the problem worse.

Overpriced, horrible craftsmanship, misleading description
by Charity (1 out of 5 stars)
October 26, 2016

These are NOT cubes, the way Tetris CUBES are actual cubes. These are a flat magnet like the business cards and hold no weight. Product descriptions are misleading. For the price of this product, I cloud have bought wooden cubes, and magnetic strips from a craft store and made our own, for less. A child could do a better job than the quality of this overpriced item. We will be visiting a craft store today. What a joke.

Got it for the boyfriend as a Christmas Gift
by Jessica Hyslope (4 out of 5 stars)
May 8, 2017

I got this for my boyfriend as it was on his Christmas list. It wasn't until AFTER I had purchased the product that I saw all the negative reviews of the pieces being too small. They are pretty small but they aren't so small they are impossible to see. I took the recommendation of another review to push the pieces back into the magnet part rather than forward and passed it on to the boyfriend. Seems to have worked as all the pieces are still firmly together and him and his roommate make hilarious sayings on their fridge door. While I would go for a more classic Tetris heart shape look, they proceed to have some fun and write actual words with them. I don't know how they do it but they manage and it is hilarious.

Overall, I wish the magnets were bigger but they weren't a purchase for me, they were a gift and my boyfriend loved them when he got him. Now him and his roommate have loads of fun messing with them making funny sayings. Take the advice of pushing the pieces through the magnetic part rather than forwards. It seems to make the colored portion stay on better.
4/5, would gift again (If someone wanted these).

Great small entertainment that travels!
by IAHawkeyeMom (5 out of 5 stars)
September 25, 2019

First: the negative reviews are simply not understanding what they purchased. I paid about $7 for this. I don't expect unbreakable. I bought them to use on a magnetic dry erase board as an alternate entertainment for kids on a looong road trip. Small size means easy to pack! They'll be fun! Could you break them? Yes. Do I buy unbreakable anything for my kids to play? Pretty much no. I'm ordering a second set so they can challenge each other to shapes etc. Worth it!

Wet Cardboard Sticks Better To My Refrigerator.
by Erik R (1 out of 5 stars)
July 8, 2019

Even though these are a cheap item, I didn't think they would be THIS CHEAP. They are much smaller than they appear, rip easily when separating them, and lasted on my fridge for maybe half a day - I ruled out my fridge being the issue by having a friend use a few on their fridge and the same result occurred. Not even worth using in a cheap gift bag or gag gift...

They don't last long...
by Anonymous K (2 out of 5 stars)
July 18, 2015

I am a child of the 80's and grew up on Nintendo 8-bit, and these make me soooo happy! :) You pop the pieces out, and I even reused the hollow "shell" as magnet decor, too!

UPDATE: After less than 2-3 months of being on my refrigerator, the colored paper is starting to fall off the magnet pieces. Very disappointing.
