Not great, but not bad.

I like these headphones, They work very well at the gym. They've got good sound quality and no cords. I have no problems with these doing cardio or circuit training. Sorry, not a runner, so I can't say if they stand up to jarring. They only interfere with my workout during crunches. I can live with that. I was a little bit concerned about sturdiness when I first opened the package, but i haven't had any problems under moderate use.

The neck band and the ear phones are both comfortable. I adjust the ear buds every five to ten minutes during a workout, but I think that's acceptable. Because I'm short, I have to take the headset off my neck when I'm in the car- otherwise the neckband catches on the seat belt.

They also do a good job when talking on the phone. The sound is a little bit tinny, but better than any wired headset I've used. I have not received any complaints about difficulty from the folks I'm talking to.

I do have some complaints. First, I mostly use these for listening to podcasts. For some reason the sound cuts out for a split-second every few minutes. It's not a huge deal, but it's enough to be noticeable. My husband has a similarly-styled LG headset and does not have this complaint. Also, I've found it difficult to impossible to close the cover for the charging port. I would really like a "mute" button on this headset. I am on a lot of conference calls, I usually mute myself until it's my turn to talk. I have to have my phone in my hand in order to make this strategy work. I can't complain too much, the LG doesn't have a mute button either.

Light weight and comfortable with good sound quality - ideal for listening on the go.

I am very happy with my Rokit Boost SwageU Headphone. While I was initially dubious about how comfortable it would be worn around the neck, it is so light weight that I barely remember I have it on. I enjoy the wireless aspect of it, and the ease of controlling my phone music and answering my phone all without having to touch my phone. I had two reasons for deciding to purchase a wireless headset - one, I was tired of having the wire always in the way when I was out walking, and two, my husband objected to the background noise when I was talking to him through the in-line mic. I was very happy, that when I switched to the Rokit Bluetooth headset, my husband reported not hearing any background noise when I was out walking and talking on the phone to him. He said it was a huge improvement over the wired mic, and I'm happy not to have any complaints when I'm talking to him. I'm happy with the ear bud quality, they are comfortable to wear, stay in my ears nicely and the sound quality is very good. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I'm not quite as pleased with the sound quality when using it on phone calls. The sound is weaker, than when listening to music or my audio books, and breaks up a little. Overall, I'm very pleased and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a stero Bluetooth headset.

I want to start off by saying this is the first bluetooth headphones I have ever bought so unfortunately I can't compare to other products out there.

The headphones come with 3 sizes of ear bud ends. The mediums are installed, the small and large are in a small baggie in the box. The user manual is translated pretty well but has very small text and not many illustrations. The headphones themselves feel quality. Something I couldn't grasp from the photos is the band is very flexible/floppy (I thought it would be more like a hairband or something)

That said please note that they will fall off if you lean back in a chair without the ear buds in! I learned that the first time I did and they hit the floor (lucky it was on carpet!)

I have to be honest I thought the sound quality would suck but I was very surprised! The sound quality is right on par and I believe sound as good if not better than my skull candy ear buds. Music sounds clear and crisp. The headphones actually have a built in equalizer program which you can switch between a few modes but can't be customized and the headphones with default to "normal" when you power them off and back on. As a note, I use the "normal" mode and feel it is fine for my music and all around daily use.

Call quality is great! I really like using both ear buds when on a call especially for people that decide to speak 10 miles from the speaker... you know those people right? The controls are responsive and pretty intuitive. All you have to remember is "Right shoulder = music controls, Left shoulder = call & volume"

Battery life lasts longer than my days do. I listen to music about 6 or 7 hours out of the day the other 5 to 6 hours is standby time. I haven't even gotten a low battery indicator yet so maybe one day I will go for an endurance run to see how the battery will last.

Now for the bad...

I haven't found any way to turn off the vibration... when a call comes in it will vibrate nonstop until the call is answered or rejected! Very powerful too... I can hear it half across the room! Also can't be good for battery life.

The wires for the ear buds come out the side which I can't figure out why they thought that was a good idea. I feel like they are stressed every time the ear bud is removed and accidentally tug too hard... That said it IS just a feeling... the wires have taken a good tug or two and haven't given any issues yet.

Fulfills a need

First of all - ordered and it arrive the next day! Which is always awesome (:

If you're in the market for a wireless headphone then you can't go wrong here. I spent a week researching Bluetooth Earbuds to wear when cycling and I found these after bouncing back and forth between the different LG models and a few other options.

Audio quality is always subjective and knowing that, there was no one model from any manufacturer, which I read the reviews, articles and watched countless review videos for, that left me believing it was of any higher audio quality or fidelity than the next. Reviewers like and hate them all. So, for me, audio quality was off the list - as long as it wasn't an obvious waste of money [tiny mini-monkeys banging tin pie plates inside them] - which these aren't. This is what it always came down to for me; pay less for function, UX and longevity.

You CAN pay more for essentially the same form factor, [maybe] better buds, and the same functionality [but obvious different UX] OR you can grab what will do the job and pay much less. Especially so, if this is your first pair of these. It's my first pair and I'm glad I paid little for them. They may or may not work out, it'll take some time to work them into my routine and loadout.

The audio quality is exactly what I expected. If you use a player that has a good EQ function [like Maven] then you should be satisfied. The output is good. If you're an audiophile, expecting HQ audio out of low cost buds pumping over a Bluetooth signal then you're in the wrong place. These aren't for you.

Build quality is good but does have a 'knock off' feel. That's not necessarily a slight to the manufacture. In fact it's appreciated as the cost savings are passed on to us the consumer. And that brings me to the main point, these aren't sexy to look at. I'm only ever going to wear them when I'm riding. Every other time, I'll put in my SkullCandy's.

Paired with my phone just fine [LG G3] and proximity is also excellent.

Magnets aren't particularity powerful - the buds will fall free with a light tap. [- star for that]

A seamless experience of phone and music...exceptional quality, value
by Cris (5 out of 5 stars)

Over the years I have owned a variety of high-end headphones, headsets and ear buds, wired and wireless--Bose, Sennheisers, Logitech, Monsters, etc. all with strengths and weaknesses. I read all the reviews on Amazon about the SwageU and agree fully with the very high, consistent 5 rating. I am writing about this product to add my voice because it is truly exceptional. I use a wheelchair so "hands free" has a special meaning for me. The SwageU has made communicating with family and friends and listening to music a seamless experience. Here's why.

Until I bought and used the SwageU I have never, EVER been able to keep earbuds in place for more than a few minutes. Because of the design of the SwageU the wires float and the buds are not pulled out when you turn your head. I've fallen asleep at night and they were still in place in the morning! They are so unobtrusive it is easy to forget you are wearing them. Just don't jump in the shower!

The best part is the quality of the sound, especially the phone, though music quality is very, very good. For the first time I can understand my 3 year old granddaughter on the phone as she jabbers on about her day. Priceless.... The EQ is subtle--built into the FF button, but gives a Base and Treble option. Also, plenty loud enough with nice presence at mid-range volume.

They paired easily with my iPad and Galaxy 5S. All the functions work equally well on both. Signal clear from opposite ends of my house through several walls. Watching a movie on the iPad with these buds is fantastic. The controls are easy to use, intuitive, especially since you can't see them. They weigh less than my shirt collar...so comfortable to the point of forgetting they are there.

I had an opportunity to communicate with Customer Service over a question about the EQ and "Joe" was quick and responsive. The recent snow storm had delayed delivery from Amazon. I quoted Voltaire--"Anticipation is the greater part of pleasure." And he responded with another Voltaire quote: "Appreciation is a wonderful thing: what is excellent in others belong to us as well."

What a thoughtful reply from someone who believes in his company and products. I think you will appreciate this product and so will any friends and family who receive one of these as a gift! It's on my list.

Skeptical buyer turned happy owner.

I'll start this off by saying I've long been mistrustful of bluetooth--I've always used wired everything, so that's a given. I've also never found a pair of earbuds that were really comfortable enough to forget about, so I bought this fully expecting I would only occasionally use it for music and calls on my phone while out on the trail or the likes.

I've been nothing if not pleasantly surprised to find that the SwageU is quite a pleasure to use.

The band itself rests just under a collar, or inside a polo without any issue, not showing up at all and barely being noticeable unless running or the likes--it rests on your collarbone, and thus will bounce against with up-and-down motions. I've not been bothered by this, however, and simply tuck the band inside the collar of my shirt to somewhat secure it--problem solved.

The earbuds have their three sizes of cushions--which are securely in place but easy to swap--and the large size seems to fit me perfectly so as to offer clear sound while staying perfectly comfortable. I worked for three hours the other day while wearing these and never felt any discomfort, so that was a nice change for me. Most earbuds are bothersome--either not fitting properly, or having the cables tug--and these escape that by having thin, light cables run to the band down by your neck, just long enough to allow the full range of motion without feeling a tug.

I will say that my experience hasn't been perfect, mind you. The sound has gotten a little choppy at times (rarely, and easily rectified), especially if my phone's in the back pocket, but I believe that's more likely my phone at fault--I use a thoroughly abused Lumia 521. Moving my phone to a side pocket, I've had no further issues, and I've even used the SwageU from the kitchen with clear sound while my phone sits by my computer in the living room, so I'm happy to give this a 5-star rating, especially considering that my other option was a more expensive LG product with less clear and sensible controls--I like my buttons. Excellent first impressions, and continued enjoyment for nearly a week of daily use now.

Good sound, how do I turn off the vibrating option, or change the setting.
by Amazon Customer (4 out of 5 stars)

I have used a few headsets before and it is always hard to find a good fit. This one so far has been great! The ear pieces fit great in my ears and seat into their magnet holders well. The sound quality is fantastic for music. So much so I was sitting at my desk listening to music at work and missed a big commotion because I couldn't hear anything beyond my music. I phone quality has been adequate, nothing over the top though.

What is stopping me from giving it 5 stars? The size of the ends with all the buttons is one. Even though they are fairly light the size is a bit awkward. Maybe because I had headsets before and was used to the smaller ends on the previous set. Also, when getting an incoming call it vibrates extremely loudly and constant. Not in short bursts to let you know, but constant until you answer the call. Even if you have your phone set on silent. I'm still trying to figure out if this is a setting that can be changed, but so far I can't find one.

Works Great once you figure out how to get it to work!
by Cmg (4 out of 5 stars)

The SwageU works well once you figure out how to get connected. As noted in other reviews, the ear pieces won't stay with the head set part very well. I would give it 5 stars except for that point and that fact the documentation describing how to use it is translated from another language by a non-English native person so it is hard to understand.

I use them with my laptop and smartphone. I had a hard time following the directions to get the headphones to work with both the phone and the smartphone (Android) at the same time. I followed the directions to pair both my phone and the laptop with the headphones but had trouble getting the phone and the laptop to connect at the same time. I found the trick is to lay the headphones on the laptop, turn on the headphones, wait until the blinking LED turns blue. Then put smartphone next to the laptop, go to the Bluetooth settings on the smartphone and choose Swage to connect. It is then connected to both the laptop and the phone. Keep the phone away from the headphones until you are ready to connect. Both the laptop and the phone need to be very close to the headphones to connect, but once connected, I put the phone in my bag.

AWESOME battery life, rest is ok too . . . .
by vstarjewel (4 out of 5 stars)

I had some blue tooth headsets that I used frequently (at the gym, while working around the house, on my motorcycle). Their battery life was getting shorter and shorter, so I looked into these headphones.

The BT headset I had previously had buttons on the sides of the ear buds, which had multiple functions: press top button to turn on, press and hold same button to skip to next song, etc. Wasn't real keen on that feature as I accidentally shut off the headsets more than once. I also didn't like that the wires would get tangled ALL the time . . . pain in the patoo to unravel them (I was very careful with them, so unraveling them could be a 5 minute job). I purchased the Rokit BT specifically for the magnetic ear buds and the separate buttons for each control. Although at times it was difficult to find the buttons when on my bike (it was tucked under a jacket), overall they do a good job.

PROS:

LOOOONNNNGGGG battery life. I love this!!! My old BT earbuds had to be plugged in after every time I used them. If they weren't, they would go dead (major bummer when on a bike road trip). I got over 5 hours of play time out of the battery without stopping. Outstanding!!

The individual buttons are very nice, when I can remember which one is which (user problem. . . . he he he).

Sound is good. As said by others, I am not an audio maniac - as long as it sounds decent I'm happy. The volume goes up plenty high (again, good while on the bike).

CONS:

The magnets that are suppose to keep the earbuds in place are pretty weak. When I set them down the buds fall askew. I did read a few other reviews that had this issue also . . . not a deal breaker, but sorta kinda poopy that they don't stay put.

I do like that the wires are short and attached to the actual headset. I have had the small clip that holds the wires on come off; that is a PISTOL to get back on. I don't want to break the headsets, so I have to be gentle, and that clip doesn't go on easily. Would be better if the clip was on the neck rest permanently, not allowing it to come off.

My BIGGEST beef: the charger. I find I really have to play with it to get the cable to connect to the headset. Once I DO get it in, I have to VERY GENTLY AND VERY SLOWLY set the headsets down to let them charge. If you move the wrong way, the cable comes out, and you are starting all over again. I've had to wiggle and adjust the cable SEVERAL times so it will plug in. I find this to be the worst part of the headsets (and it's a good thing it has a long battery life!).

Overall - happy with my purchase. Though I try to be careful with them, I'm rather rough with my stuff, and they have been handled with less than a gentle hand by me, and they are still working. I would purchase them again.

Update to original review:

**UPDATE TO MY REVIEW:

Life is back to good again:

After being contacted by Rokit about warranty concerns I have received a new unit in replacement of the original unit that stopped charging. Incorrect information from my phone calls regarding the 30 warranty lead to the original review. Updated info gives me a 1 year warranty and the new unit is up and running as expected from a Rokit audio product. Thank you to Rokit for stepping up and contacting ME to solve the problem. Customer service as it should be. Thanks...and keep up the good work.
*Former review*

I'm sorry to have to rate this so low. The reviews were good and when it was received all was well. Worked like a charm, but...alas, quit charging. With only a 30 day warranty, I'm now out the money paid and have a unit that pleased me at first but now sits around reminding me that if you have to buy a new unit every 60 days it's just not worth the money or the hassle. Sorry Rokit & Amazon...you dropped the ball this time to my massive disappointment.
