This stuff works. And it leaves your hands feeling soft. I realize how that sounds to those who work with their hands, and I would never repeat this on a job site, but doubt any of my "colleagues" will see this. Unlike other products, you do need water, but let's be honest, as soon as we use the other products, we typically head right to a sink to finish the job anyway.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend who is kind of a germaphobe. I lasted probably at least 6-9 months between the two of us. I love this soap so much. It exfoliates and cleans so well. As a female, often times I'll have make up on my finger tips that is hard to wash off because of the ridges that make up our fingerprints.. this works perfectly to remove make up from my hands or other residues. It has a clean smell. It doesn't leave your hands feeling rubbery or anything.

The only negative thing I have to say is about the packaging. The soap cakes onto the lid where it closes the opening, and even if you scrape off what cakes on, it won't close all the way. So I recommend getting a soap container wth a big enough pump for this.

I have been using SoJo pumice soap for years. I saw my grizzled hunter/fisherman/carpenter uncle use it on his insanely dirty hands (let's be honest - his hands were fish scale covered, deer blood soaked, and grease monkey smeared - at the very least), and that stuff seemed magical. I liked that they eventually came out with a "cherry" version, too. But then I saw this...and I was intrigued that it was made with dirt to clean dirt. I love dirt...and paint and glue and everything else that shouldn't be on my hands because, whereas "normal" people where gloves when they work, I hate them and just use my grubby little hands. At the end of the day, my phone's thumb print recognition is useless. It might as well accuse me of being a spy that has acid burned my finger prints off - that's how much crap I manage to destroy my skin with. I know my hands will probably either glow green or just fall off in a few years, at the ripe old age of 36. Anyhow, THIS stuff IS magical. This stuff gets EVERYTHING off, without scrubbing. It gets surprisingly soapy. It leaves your hands as soft as a freshly bloomed rose petal (I don't have babies and can't speak to their butts, but if that's how you want to think of it - by all means). I just ordered a gallon of it. A GALLON of it. If you are questioning the efficacy of this stuff, don't. It's worth every penny - heck, I'd send them a TIP for this stuff if I could. Seriously, I have the kind of hands that my dog doesn't want a pet from by the end of the day. I have dirt under my nails so obnoxious I usually just cut my nails off to deal with it. PS if you put this stuff on a nail brush, it's better than when they soak your fingers at a salon. I have the kind of hands that make little boys go "is that what my hands would look like if I didn't wash them all the time like you tell me to, mom?!" But now, with this soap, I can continue to be that heinously dirty handed adult female who says, "Yep. Better stop pretending to wash your hands by turning on the faucet but never actually washing your hands after you use the bathroom, kid!" Because I know I can clean my hands to perfection with soap...and because lying to little kids is fun. Huzzah!

When I'm outdoors and away from sanitary facilities, I pour water on the ground and use the mud to scrub grease and other food residue off my hands. This product follows the same principle, and works very well. No harsh chemicals, no perfumey smell. Just straight up gets your hands clean.

Outstanding soap with more applications than intended

Grip Clean works exactly as it claims: the combination of ingredients make this soap a perfect cleaner for greasy hands-and more. I first used it for cleaning my hands after adjusting my bicycle's chain, resulting in black, greasy hands; Grip Clean was a perfect solution. On another occasion, upon cooking, typical odors that come with it (garlic, onion, etc.) endured on my hands well after having washed them repeatedly with regular soap. I thought of trying Grip Clean; here, too, this cleaner rid my hands of such odors that are so hard to get rid. Clearly Grip Clean can be employed beyond its original purpose.

One word of advice: Grip Clean ought to be scrubbed vigorously, then rinsed thoroughly; otherwise a film with the scent of lime & pomice, which people have complained about in these reviews will be left over.

Great product and works well, u do have to add water to the wash to make it more effective but I'm very satisfied and will order more!

Packaging needs improvement but for us we go through the bottle pretty fast, hoping they sell it in larger sizes, they do I found it in a half gal now!

I've been using common auto parts store cleaner for years and also other newer non-pumice based products. Typically, my issue is that after the first applications of these hand cleaners, I don't get it all the dirt out, and subsequent applications don't work either.

Grip Clean actually very well on most automotive lubricant based dirt and doesn't destroy your hands with its use. If my hands are really bad (I rip a glove), I will just lather for about 30 seconds and get most of it. A shower and then one more subsequent application gets 99% of the dirt.

I have stopped using other hand cleaners, works well on the kids when they are playing outside and are exceptionally filthy.

As a person who values my health, for years I haven't used antiperspirant.

As a person of Italian descent I have somewhat strong pit odor that is not always easy to get off without vigorous scrubbing. I resolved the issue by making diy clay masks for my pits. Lolz. I put the mask on and let it dry before getting into the shower. What a mess and hassle. Though it works.

So when I saw that this hand soap contains clay, I thought I should give it a go. I'm so glad I found this stuff. No more messy pre shower pit masks! Lol. This stuff completely removes BO, and simplifies my life. I'm going to order the small one for travel.
