We are transitioning from our osprey to having our toddler walk full-time during hikes and walks. This is nice as it gives her a break from the walk but is not bulky to keep on. It is taxing if wearing her for extended periods but we are trying to encourage her to walk so not a big deal. We love it, she loves it. If you are looking for something to wear for long periods, this is not your solution - but a great transition piece for a toddler who needs breaks during long days out!

This is a great product, my kid loves to use it. However, there is a major design flaw that I think can be easily implemented in a 2.0 version of this product. Currently the weight of your child is transferred to your shoulders and carried by your back. The resolution is two parts. First, pad the shoulder straps better. Second, add a waist buckle like a backpacking pack and sew the straps coming up from the foot bar to the waist straps rather than the shoulder or to both waist and shoulder. I would pay double for this product if they implemented this change. It would make longer hikes easier and it would put the weight on your legs instead of your back and shoulders.

Any ways I digress... I would buy this again and I recommend it to anyone with a toddler who doesn't want to hike for more than a half hour.

Pro tip: make your kid walk until you need this, then put them in it so you aren't worn out and tired as quickly.

Easy to use and get my tiny human on it it's great since he can see and I don't have to keep holding or chasing him. When he wants down, we are able to make that happen.

I use this for my 4.5 year old - she is tall and weighs around 45 pounds. I am able to sustain that weight so this is great and more comfortable than piggy backs or shoulder rides when her legs get tired. I ordered this to use on trail hikes and festivals with her so I'm excited to try that.

My son and I like to go on adventures and as he is only 3 years old, sometimes he gets tired or sometimes I want to hold him to prevent any falls. It's great because we could be hiking along and then when he needs he'll climb on my back. We've got to share some amazing experiences that not many 3 years old get to do. The only thing I'd change is to make the platform a little wider. I think it would make it easier for the child to plant their feet, relax, and enjoy the ride.

Toddler Carrier

This is a great toddler carrier for any toddlers that can stand. My husband originally bought it for our three year old as he is just now walking and thought he would like to stand instead of ride in his stroller all the time. Our four year old actually loves it the most. Even when she does not fully stand up my husband says he can barely feel her on his back. Plus it has a harness so they do not have to hold on. We also got the support belt. I would fully recommend this product to any family.

Game changer

We have 5 kids, and when our 4th came (our only boy), we needed to keep him close. He would run through crowds, break out of stroller straps, scream at the top of his lungs to get out of our grip.

With this product, our son feels like he's part of everything. He has to hold himself up, which releases some energy. He feels safe since he's at my husbands shoulders. He's secure, since he has his own harness.

To be transparent, I haven't personally used this, since I've either been reigning in the older 3, or babywearing our youngest, but my husband asked for me to order this specific product after watching Shark Tank, because he's a tall, big guy and my babywearing carriers don't fit him well (mainly Lillebaby, my fav). But he is so enthusiastic about this product that he wishes he could sell them personally, since ANYTIME we're in public SO many people ask him where to get one. People see the design and know it just works.

I've read the other reviews and my conclusion is it doesn't work for everyone, and I get that. But if you have strong shoulders, and aren't comfortable with traditional baby carriers, give this a shot! It's so lightweight, and takes up a fraction of the room my Lillebaby takes when we're traveling!

Could be a bit more robust straps and padding. But otherwise it works great with my daughter. Im 6'2. Not sure exactly how big my daughter is, I'm sure she's close to the weight limits on this but it still feels very secure just not very padded for longer walks
