Great Product! I bought it as a gift for Fathers day since my dad enjoys spicy food as well as cooking in general! I would highly suggest this particular product after researching other type products on Amazon and other websites. This kit had everything we needed and more! It was very well packed. When we opened the product it had everything as described and a nice personal note inside!

It was fun, thoughtful, exciting, creative, and interesting all wrapped inside of one box!

Once again, after reading the reviews from other customers, I figured this was the most promising and complete box out there. My expectations were exceeded.

Great value on "Man Crate-like" gift set

Note: I am leaving this same review on all 3 gift sets I bought. As each person LOVED their gift box and the review is on the conceptional design & comparison to similar products.

I visited a website that sold gift "man crates" geared towards men after everyone at work was talking about it and suggested we get our bosses gift from there - Um, unless he's giving me a raise I do that know about...I couldn't justify the cost. As always, came to Amazon to see if I could find a better deal on a comparable item -- We go a BINGO!!!

Are the gifts sets as great as I would like them to be? Maybe, maybe not. BUT the items are comparable if not the same as the ones selling for 3x more.

As for the boss, he was really impressed at the thoughtfulness of a gift that aligns with his outside interests (he talks a lot about himself during meetings) & he thinks we spent a lot more money than we did so he let us leave immediately after our holiday lunch without torturing us to play some team building game!

I bought this product as a gift for my s/o, he loves to cook and loves all things spicey. Recently he had ordered ghost peppers and didn't know what to do with them. So I started researching hot sauce kits and came across this one. We were not disappointed!! The packaging was cute and making the hot sauce was something fun and different to enjoy together. Having this kit it made it so easy!!!!!! All of our friends have heard about our hot sauce making adventure and want to know where to get a kit for themselves, I've sent them this link :) everything is include, tiny glass storing bottles, the spices, little squeeze bottles and tiny fill in labels. He absolutely loved this gift and I can't believe I got it for the price that I did considering everything that's included. 10/10 would recommend

I bought this hot sauce kit for my father as a Christmas gift. It arrived very fast and the packaging was very cute! Although I didn't use this item myself, my dad said he had a great time making the hot sauce! He has tried one flavor and he's excited to experiment with more. I think this is such a creative gift and I look forward to trying their other kits. The ONLY reason I gave this a 4-star review was the pepper packaging. The dried peppers are very powerful and produce a very strong scent. I was worried there would be issues shipping this by mail, so I had to take each pack out and wrap it in a ziplock to contain the smell. It all worked out in the end and they arrived safely to their destination, but the pepper smell would have over powered the rest of the gifts in the box if I let them as is.

I bought the Hot Sauce Making Kit for my boyfriend as a Christmas present. It was a perfect gift - He loves hot sauce, so he was excited about the opportunity to make his own! We finally used the Hot Sauce Making Kit (and the hot sauce we made using the kit). It was great for a date night! I am rating 4 out of 5 stars because while it was very fun, a few of the instructions were unclear (e.g. step 2 said to add all ingredients, but step 4 said to add the vinegar) or unnecessary (e.g. using the pH test strip - the hot sauce simply stained the pH test strip), and I needed to buy extra ingredients and materials (e.g. a strainer - without one, the hot sauce was too thick for the funnel despite using a very good blender - and extra gloves) to make a good hot sauce. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, and I am thinking of buying my boyfriend another kit from the same seller for his birthday.

Great Gift for Dad!

I bought this as a birthday present for dad. He was super excited when he opened it, and got to work right away. The entire house now stinks of spicy, and a second recipe is already underway. My dad doesn't care, but two of the pre-made sticker labels are for the sauce that can only be made once. I wish there were more, blank-er labels to write more info in. This kit is not all-inclusive, and you may have to buy more ingredients, but it is super fun and worth the buy.

This kit is awesome! We had a "hot sauce making" party and used this kit (along with other peppers Home grown and store bought) and had a blast! Also purchased additional bottles so everyone could take some sauce home. Definitely a great gift to give for your hot sauce fan in your life!

I got this for my boyfriend as a birthday present since we are both hot sauce aficionados, and he loved it! It comes neatly packed and honestly makes wayyyyy more hot sauce than it says (pro is more hot sauce for your money, con is you might need extra containers!). We did add some more water to most of the recipes to make them more sauce-y and less thick. The mild flavor also turned out kind of gross and we followed the directions to the T, thinking it was the ACV and that that recipe in particular would do better with another type of vinegar. But we fixed it, and it was fun to play around trying to figure out how to make it better! We have yet to make the super hot one with the reaper/ghost pepper (i forget which it is) but we are super excited to have saved the best for last!

I am very happy that I ordered this DIY gifts kit for hot sauces. The first batch I made I did not follow the directions well enough. I attempted to make the smokin sauce. The recipes do not take a lot of cooking on the stove and I think that's where I went wrong. To avoid making my mistakes I'd suggest reading the instructions and all the tips carefully before starting any recipe. Customer service was awesome. They were very receptive in helping me. Now today I made two different batches and they all came out great thanks to the customer service . You Will definitely please whoever you're buying for.

I hope this company will consider selling the spice packages and maybe even the peppers in the future. That would be excellent.

I received this as a gift at Christmas, and I had a great time making my own hot sauce. At first, I followed the packaged recipes, but I plan on making my own to taste soon. The ingredients were well kept and smelled fresh, despite being dried. The sauces, of course, taste great, and I think this would be a great activity for a parent-child.

The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because I thought the recipes that came along were few and some required multiple ingredients that didn't come with the kit. So, really, I could only make two of the recipes, and while delicious, I would have enjoyed greater variety or more ingredients within.
