Ok so I saw the reviews that this coffee maker gets to a point where it makes noise and doesn't spit out coffee/makes lukewarm coffee and I made the same mistakes. This is not a $175 Kuerig, it takes a little bit to make one cup of coffee in a machine that's the size of a desk lamp. Put water in the reservoir, add a cup, push the button....and resist the urge to freak out when you don't immediately get coffee. It will make noises and the light on top will go from being solid to pulsing slowly. It will then spit coffee out once it is hot enough. Lukewarm coffee comes when you panic because you don't have your fix soon enough so you add more water and hammer on the button like a crack addict (spoiler it mixes the hot water it's making with the cold water you added, also wastes a cup)

TL;DR this machine works fine, set it up for one cup, push the button, and wait 2 minutes before jonesing

I thought it might have been operator error. But it continues to happen. I fill the reservoir to 10, power light is on, brew light is blinking. I tap the brew button and it only pulls down small amounts of water. I lift the handle again, brew light blinks, tap the brew button and same thing. Once the reservoir is empty only then does it start to brew. Anyone else have this problem...is it still operator error? It has emptied the reservoir and brewed completely only a hand full of times. When it does brew I do get a piping hot cup of coffee.

POS. Thing works once every three times. Doesn't bring the water down. It turns on for two seconds sucks water down then shuts off. I unplug try again it goes for two seconds. Again two seconds nothing. Eventually it sucks enough two second bursts for a 6oz cup when I poured 12oz and it comes out cold. Don't bother with this thing. Looks cool but they haven't fixed the bugs yet. Returned and got a replacement, worked for a month and the SAME THING happened. Biggest waste of money around.

I am the only one in the household who drinks coffee and usually no more than one cup a day so this coffee maker looked perfect to me. I have a regular Keurug and a pod holder which take up way more than their share of real estate just for one coffee drinker.

The sleek design is very attractive, everything in one compact unit. With the cord storage and pod holder it's simple to take the coffee-maker with you if you'd like. I have the perfect little canvas drawstring bag which fits it They even included six sample pods.

The one-cup reservoir is simple to fill with the cup you're going to use so you know the exact amount of coffee you're going to get. After I ran a couple of cups of water though, to clean the unit, I popped in a pod and got a perfect cup of coffee. This will also work with my little re-fillable pod. By the way don't use distilled water.

The K-mini costs about the same as the larger Keurig but I really can't tell the difference except the reservoir. With the K-mini you always have fresh water. You only make one cup at a time but that's what you do with the big one, too. Filling the reservoir each time is a great trade-off for the space saving.

Nope, no cavil from me.

Note 9/19: I don't want to mislead anyone so maybe I should clarify.The K-mini can be used with the Keurig "my K-cup reusable filter". You will have to remove the adapter on the bottom and it takes a bit of jiggling to seat the filter. When you have the filter in you can't use the pods. Also the "ekobrew" and iparts filters won't fit the K-mini. At least I couldn't get them to fit.

Works fine blindfolded

This one works fine. It is literally a one-button coffee maker that makes one mug of coffee, make it in about two minutes from cold (36 degree filtered refrigerator water), and makes it very hot (182 degrees in the cup)! Opening it to put in a k-cup turns it on and it turns itself off after a couple of minutes. Keurig coffee makers are usually ridiculously complicated; needing a touch screen display and/or six buttons to make coffee is absurd. Possibly anal. On this there is a big silver-dollar sized button on the lid; to make coffee you push it. That's all. Someone at Keurig's gonna get fired.

Oh, it also makes decent coffee. Ours is a blind household and there are no stupid pointless features to remember. This one's a keeper.

I love the look of this Keurig. It saves space and also stores the k- pods- genius. BUT, I bought this to make a HOT cup of coffee. The coffee is like warm. Sorry , Keurig, I'm sending this machine back.

Broken within 1 month of purchase...

I've always loved Keurig and was excited to see this new version. However, after a few weeks, it malfunctioned to where the coffee was lukewarm. Then, the machine would cycle to suck down water and then stop. After unplugging, and repeated attempts, same problem. Of course, it's just beyond the 30 day return, so I've lost over $100. VERY disappointing. I will not be buying Keurig again. It's convenient, but NOT quality!

As other reviewers have indicated, this Keurig only works sometimes. The switches seem defective, only working some of the time. If patient, after several attempts, it will brew coffee. The coffee is hot and good. I found that after attempting to get the BIG SILVER button to get the system operating in several attempts , it works well.

Quality Control would catch this defect normally. Sampling every tenth unit should pick up this problem. However, the QC department is not catching this issue. There is No excuse for such sloppy work.

I was a little worried the coffee would be less than ideal after reading some of the comments/reviews. It works great. Coffee is perfectly hot, quick and easy. My old mini busted and I couldn't find a replacement part for it so I decided to get a new one and wasn't disappointed.

It's compact design leaves a smaller foot print and is perfect for my tiny coffee bar, leaving room for other related items. My only complaint would be that it is rather noisy, but it delivers a quick cup of hot coffee or tea in minutes.
