I Am Disappointed

"Fits a standard lid mason jar"? No it doesn't. We have 3 sizes of mason jars, obviously it doesn't fit the wide mouthed - larger capped jars. The smaller diameter jars are still too big. In order to get the correct sized SMALL mouthed mason jar, most are sold in packs of a dozen. I need two. Or I could buy two for 3-4 bucks each as singles. This lighted cap just got expensive for what is being offered. I am disappointed. Measurements should be given on what size mason jar.

Doesn't work

Just like others said, didn't fit properly and didn't light up. I was going to use it for a raffle item for a fundraiser for cancer. I couldn't. Had to last minute run to the local craft store. The only reason I didn't give it 1 star is because I didn't leave it outside for more than 1 day.

Received one of these as a gift and HAD to send one to a family member, so of course I looked on Amazon, and there it was. Oh, and did I say it was less than at other web sites? So easy to send something to another address. Recipient LOVES the lid.

Received yesterday and was able to charge them up for just a few hours, but they popped on at dusk and are relatively bright for the size of the light. Will consider ordering more!

I'm a little underwhelmed by these. I love the idea of it - but the lights are not consistent. Plus, the directions are not clear. The product is a nice looking lid with a AAA rechargeable battery. The light is periodic at night - and is pretty but not consistent or long lasting.

So far they work great. Pretty bright at night. We have not let them get wet. They are for smaller-mouthed jars, not the big, wide-mouthed quart jars.

Not for outside use. Leaks when it rains or heavy dew. Only lasted a few months. Otherwise it's a cool idea.
