I want to give this five stars, but it loses one for being hard to clean. The white bone piece is hollow and some grease will wind up in there, which is hard to thoroughly remove unless you have a slim bottle brush (or tiny fingers); if the bone piece was solid, this would not be an issue. On the positive side, it does a great job of eliminating the fiddly business of making a bouquet garni out of cheesecloth and twine. And it's completely adorable, which is never a bad thing. Whimsical, effective, a great product that could do with a minor improvement.

Difficult to clean

It works as described, but definitely difficult to clean.
1. As mentioned in other reviews, the inside of the "bone" is hollow and is very hard to clean without a tiny brush.
2. If you use it for cooking something greasy like oxtail stew, the grease sticks to the surface of the silicone and is extremely difficult to get it off, so a dishwasher will not clean it properly. It has to be hand-washed several times before getting rid of the grease. Though I should also point out that you can flip the orange part inside out to clean properly.

Adorkable Cookware

Warning: Make sure you warn your roommate this is not a dog toy.This is absolutely adorable but confused my poor roommate who I caught about to hand it to the pup when I left this on the counter to dry.

I love the size because I can stuff it full of all the rosemary, thyme, bay leaves, star anise, etc that I want. It's been perfect for use in my dutch oven or slow cooker when I'm making soups and stocks. Come the return of fall and winter I'll definitely be using it for my mulled wines and spiced cider. I have not noticed any change in color even with use in some usually staining liquids.

Drumstick shaped silicone herb infuser

I just love this herb infuser. Besides the total fun factor it works really well. I've used it several times since I purchases it; once to make ice cream - and tell me that isn't funny? It was a spiced vanilla ice cream and looking at that chicken leg in the custard base just made me laugh but it held the whole spices very well. The second time was for soup and it worked brilliantly.

It's so easy to use and just as easy to clean. I can't believe I didn't discover it sooner.

I got this purely for a laugh, but I actually use it so much! This gives you the added flavor of bay leaves or herb bundles, but cuts out the time spent fishing around for the leaves after they've simmered! I got every member in my family that cooks one! They get a huge chuckle for the shape, but unlike other gag gifts, these you will actually use!

Fun easy to use kitchen utensil. Helps keep spices together in soups. Easy to clean. Works great. Kinda bulkier than I thought and doesn't open close easily but overall good product.
